On Monday August 24th, students visited the Stirling Library to attend the ‘Science Spectacular Show’ as part of this year’s Book Week activities.
The performance was filled with a lot of loud bangs, smoke, dry ice and fire, keeping everyone on edge and entertained. We learnt how a balloon bursts, how sound travels, about gases, and changing states of matter. We also learnt how thinking like a scientist helps us to figure out how and why things work the way they do.
The demonstrations were exciting and many of our students volunteered to help out, making it a very enjoyable learning experience.
